Nothing but smoke

Actually, we thought the verdict of August 19, 2020 was clear. But apparently it is not for all parties involved. Kees Cornelissen is trying everything possible to keep the boat out of the water.

Like a merry-go-round, everything at Kees Cornelissen's Shipyards goes round in circles. Verdicts are ignored, contracts anyway, and the customer seems a necessary evil.

Hope for the best but prepare for the worst

After the shipyard did not make a move towards the ship's delivery, we were forced to have the fine increased. 500 euros a day did not seem to matter to Kees Cornelissen and his various shipyards.

Donald Trump claims to this day that he won the election against Joe Biden. Kees Cornelissen was misunderstood by the judges. «They are just people, after all.» He will explain to them - and to us - in an appeal hearing why the verdict was wrong.

Side issue Value Aded Tax

Many people are toying with the idea of buying a boat. Non-EU citizens can defer the payment of VAT in the Netherlands and thus significantly reduce the purchase price. This is because this whopping 21% can quickly add up to a large amount, especially for a boat that is never cheap.
